Casual OOTD

As much as I love to get dressed up every now and then, I’m always a jeans and tee shirt gal at heart. I love the effortless vibe that you can achieve by throwing an outfit like this together for running errands or just grabbing coffee on the weekend. The best part is that you can be super comfy while still looking put-together. Anytime I can accomplish that is a win in my book!

I’m really not one to gravitate towards a lot of prints, but when I do it’s always stripes. I’m not sure what it is about the classic appeal of a good striped shirt that I just can’t seem to get enough of. I’m not lying when I say that 90% of my closet is compromised of either solids or stripes. (I’m terrible at branching out sometimes.)

Even though we could possibly identify this as a problem, it won’t stop me from acquiring more striped shirts like this adorable one from Harper & Everly. I love the oversized fit & the contrast detailing on the sleeve cuff. Plus the pocket is such a perfect addition to this simple tee. With loose-fitting tees like this I love tucking them into my jeans to create a little more definition. This is a great trick for any petite girls out there, because it really keeps flowy shirts like this from overwhelming your frame. The material on this shirt is also super lightweight & comfy making it perfect for spring & summer. Also, did I mention it’s $20?! So affordable!

Also, how adorable are these Articles of Society¬†jeans?! I’ve been so obsessed with the frayed hem trend lately so naturally I had to pick these up. I love that these jeans feature that trend but in a subtle and understated way. Also, they are so incredibly comfortable! They are seriously one of the stretchiest and softest pairs of jeans that I have ever owned. Another bonus for my petite friends- they are the perfect ankle length without needing hemmed!

Thanks so much for stopping by today & I hope you all have an amazing week.
